Here are some of the proofs we got back for Kaitlyn's baptism. Enjoy. This is just a bunch of random stuff thrown together.

Well...WHERE DO I BEGIN? LOL! It has been forrrrrrrrrever since my last post but i must say 2009 is starting off pretty well. I am slowly learning my new position at work and it has been busy, busy, busy to say the least.
Kaitlyn rang in the new year with a bang...just like her mommy! I taught her well, as you can see below! LOL!

Kaitlyn rang in the new year with a bang...just like her mommy! I taught her well, as you can see below! LOL!
We are in the process of planning Kaitlyn's FIRST birthday. If you can believe my lil piglet will be ONE in March! OMG!!! So much has happened the past couple months that i have not posted that i am not even sure where to start. I worked on a few things for her baby book so i will just post it all on here as well. I will have more pics to share soon. I hope all is well with everyone. I have been peaking on your blogs but i havent been commenting. They had a block here at work so i havent been able to post or update. Yah...that was reeeeal fun. NOT!!! Everyone is getting so big!!! Anyways, Here are some updates and new things on Kaitlyn:
Kaitlyn blows bubbles with her spit – January 2009
Kaitlyn started using her lips to make a “BRRRROOM BRRRRROOOM” sound which g-pa mistakes for VROOM VROOOM – January 2009
Kaitlyn started crawling – October 2008 mostly an ARMY style crawl…not ever really on all fours.
Kaitlyn had the flu bug and lost almost 2 lbs January 2009…g-ma, mom and baby all had at the same time. NOT FUN. You even had the flu shot. Hmmmmmmm?
Kaitlyn loooooves trying new foods. She tends to choke on Ziebeck toast but loves them. Always loves biter bisquits but has choked on them as well so mommy too scared to give them to you again. (Grandma calls them your “dog bisquits” silly! You have been starting new foods for awhile now. Carrots were your first veggie Sept. 2008. Gradually added different veggies prolly since NOV. DEC. since your last doctor appt. We had to start off slow and keep you on the same thing for at least 3 days to make sure you didn’t have allergies. Nothing seemed to cause any reaction from you. I think after 3 days of peas you were over it because you would take a bite and kinda have a disgruntled look on your face. You have more and more fruit introduced to you now…and now yogurt….you love GERBER GRADUATE TV DINNERS with veggies and noodles and chicken and you loooove spaghetti o’s (January 2009)
Kaitlyn is a big girl now….you started pulling yourself up on furniture and standing there holding on and looking around as if you were thinking “how cool am I” this started in December 2008 and you were a pro by January 2009! Which then led to a game that you would like to play with mommy…pull yourself up on the couch, table or whatever…look at me to see if I am there…start laughing and then let go and start to fall so mommy would catch you!!!! Sometimes you would do this when mommy wasn’t there and you still thought it was funny! You’re a daredevil
Your best friends are the kitties! You love chasing them around so you can pull their tails!! Schamp and Otis are the best ones to play with…they will actually let you crawl on them and play for awhile. Baby and Elvis are smart and they take off whenever you are in sight.
Otis is your bestest buddy…he actually cuddles with you. Sometimes Otis likes to wake you up from your naps (in your crib) this makes Mommy mad. You say “kitty” clear as day now (jan. 2009) you’ve been saying it for awhile now but it is getting clearer and clearer everyday.
You pull your hands up over your head….and then mommy says “SOOOOOOOO BIG” December 2009
You took your first big girl bath in the kitchen sink – January 2009
First time mommy caught you in your crib standing up – December 2008 You were supposed to be taking a nap. You thought you were soooo cool. When you saw mommy spying on you…you just started laughing. You were proud of yourself.
First XMAS you were extremely spoiled by your g-ma and your mommy. You got very cute clothes from Gymboree; a leopard fur coat from your Uncle Trav, lots of toys for the bath (your favorite pastime) from your mommy. G-pa & Leighann got you your first pair of fur cowboy boots and your first purse with cell phone. – December 2008 You loved playing with the xmas tree. You would crawl over to the tree….look back at gma and I wait for us to say “NO” and then that very second you would pull on the lights. This would make gma very mad. I think this is when you actually learned the word NO!!! While mommy was out with friends for new years eve…I got a call on my cell phone and gma said “ She did it….she pulled the whole xmas tree down” luckily you were under your bouncy chair when this happened and the tree didn’t end up landing on you
Started getting more and more timid around strangers and would look for your mommy when you didn’t recognize someone. October 2008
Another one of your new favorite food (finger foods) that you started were Gerber puffs…they are like puff cereal. It was a good way to get you to start self feeding yourself. December 2008
You love to mach people…if someone laughs you laugh…if someone screams on the TV you scream. January 2009
You love to fake laugh – November 2009
You went to your first Christmas play/musical with the family and loved the signing and the dancing and the lights – 12/13/08
Baptized at Kountze…never heard a peep out of you. You never cried and the congregation thought you were beautiful and the best baby they’ve ever had. Even though you pooped in your diaper and stunk up the whole place. – November 2008
You love hanging upside down with g-pa. and you loooooooove playing rough and being rough housed – October 2008

First DEEP LONG BELLY LAUGH – August 2008
Kaitlyn is in love with Elmo. Her favorite pastime is watching Elmo in grouchlound. You also love Blues Clues, Jacks Big Music Show, Barney, Backyardigans, Wonder Pets, Oswald, Dora the Explorer etc…we know you are not to watch too much tv so we do try and monitor this. Started watchin in august but really got excited about tv in oct., nov. 08
Looooove bath time in the big tub. You lay on your belly and play with your tug boats. You even like reaching for the water but hate when it splashes in your face and you are not to keen about getting your hair washed. September 2008
Grandma bought you your first pair of Nike’s…they were pink/white – December 2008
Favorite toys right now….jungle house (pull the buttons down and the animal pops out); jack in the box; shape/color cookie jar; your monkeys; lil nerf football; lil blue fuzzy alien guy; car keys; you love the tv remote; animal train, and the blue feathered cat toy January 2009
Not sure exactly why this started…but ever since November 2008 you HATE getting your diaper changed. You turn and TWIST your body to get away and when we say no and turn you around you get mad and cry!!! You will fight till the end to get away. Sometimes we just have to give up and leave your pj’s unbuttoned because you get so mad you turn purple.
You love your highchair cuz you know you are gonna get food, treats, etc…You scream at us if we aren’t fast enough preparing your food. Kinda funny. Nov/Dec 2008
You are VERY interested in feeding yourself. You just started reaching for the spoon because you so badly wanna get the hang of it. It took you awhile to get things in your mouth but you seem to have it down packed now. January 2009
You love books. Gma reads you a book every day and you are already a member of the Disney book club. You have quite the collection already. We started reading to you early on…even when you were first born.
You love Grandma to sing “MR. SANDMAN” January 2009
You started saying MAMMMA MAMMMAM MAMMMA. You don’t say it very much but you do say it when you want to cuddle your money or you want a bottle or overly tired. October 2008

Well it's about time, girly!! I will say you made up for it though. I loved reading everything about little Kaitlyn. I found the diaper change thing to be really amusing as Iris was the same way. In fact, I laugh b/c it's totally different with Coen...diaper changes are his all time favorite. I guess it's a typical boy thing...liking to get their balls rubbed- hah! Miss you...plz stop by when you have a free lunch.
